Fluconazole Capsules are a form of treatment that helps to provide relief for fungal conditions such as thrush. It belongs to a class of drugs called azole antifungals and works by stopping the growth of certain types of fungus. This means that Fluconazole eases thrush by targeting the source of infection, working quickly and effectively to provide relief.
When Clotrimazole is applied to the infected area of skin it works by destroying the fungus or yeast which has caused the infection. Fluconazole destroys the infection by going straight to the source of the fungus.
