How does Feminax Express work?
The active ingredient in Feminax Express is the painkiller ibuprofen. As an anti-inflammatory drug, ibuprofen is a very common way to treat period pain. Ibuprofen is an effective period pain relief medication because it provides pain relief at the site of the pain rather than affecting the nervous system, this means it is ideal for directly decreasing inflammation caused by muscle cramps which helps to reduce period pain.
Do not take if you:
- Have or have had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding of the stomach
- Are allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredient of the product, aspirin or other related painkillers
- Are taking other NSAID painkillers, or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg
- If you are pregnant do not take this product and ask your doctor for advice
